Veneto- Wine Roads

The Treviso area of the Veneto is rich in the perfect conditions for wine production. It is difficult to find yourself on a road other than a featured “wine road”. Famous for Prosecco and the red and white wines of Conegliano, Refrontolo, and Verdiso, the hills of the Marca Trevigiana are a test for the solo driver intent on photos and finding few places to pull over on the winding, narrow roads.

Join me on drives which pass through interesting little villages and the hills of Conegliano, Valdobbiadene, Montello, Asolo, and along the Piave River valley.

It’s not all grapes and hills.

Lots of hills and grapes! Grapes must like slopes! Winding roads, too. I like the murals. Great photos.
