Spain- Segovia Up and Down

It is always advisable to look up, there are many interesting details at the top of buildings, windows, and grillwork but sometimes you find something by looking down.

Some of the history of Segovia is marked in the pavement. Brass emblems mark the route of the Jewish Quarter and are in the shape of Spain with Hebrew letters. The “T” shape is Portugal. Others mark  the underground water system coming from the huge above ground aqueducts which are so symbolic of the city.
