Naples- Life lived in the street

>       Deciding to spend time in Naples is similar to deciding which relative to spend the holidays with.  Do you pick Cousin Tony, where there is always chaos, people coming and going, you can put your feet on the furniture, the paint is fading, the kids have put fingerprints all over, and there may be dust elephants under the beds and no one cleans up right after the party but the welcome is warm OR do you go to Aunt Harriet’s house where you can’t sit on the living room couch or put your glass on the table without a coaster and people sit around awkwardly?

I’ll go to Cousin Tony’s anytime.

When living in narrow streets with people all around, it’s natural to want to extend your living space.

Yes, there are full garbage cans at night but they were empty in the morning. Yes, there is litter. Yes, there is traffic. It’s all part of life lived in the streets.
